The WhiteWater team is celebrating a record breaking IAAPA 2018 in Orlando, Florida which was in full swing a week ago.
The company would like to share a quick recap of all the exciting things that happened there:
“Firstly, we would like to thank everyone—old friends and new—for dropping by our booth, whether it was to say hi, to check out our latest offering, Vantage, or to have a look at some of the models that we had on display. We were thrilled to catch up with everyone and to share some of the latest projects that we’ve worked very hard on in the past year, such as Playa Maya Waterpark in Wuhan, Laguna Waterpark in La Mer, Dubai, and SeaWorld Aquatica Orlando. We also had a lot of fun dancing into the night at our party and we were able to donate $2,465 from the door to the charity, Give Kids the World Village.
“As we explained at our press conference, it is our purpose to “create places where fun thrives” and to that end, we want to bring the very best that our industry has to offer as a complete solution. To achieve that, we announced new partnerships with award-winning aquatics flooring company, Life Floor, Wiegand Maelzer to produce their Impact Award winning and iconic SlideWheel, Holovis to create transformative projects, VR Coaster to build futuristic experiences with VR-based water slides, and a unique new water entertainment concept with Cirque du Soleil. These partnerships encapsulate our goal to bring the industry into the future with novel technology and unique alliances.
“That said, we don’t take our eyes off our core offering, which is making the best attractions and our haul of four Brass Rings Awards was testament to that! We are proud to have been recognized with:
- Winner of Best New Product: Water Park Ride/Attraction for FusionFortress 17 – an epic interactive play structure with iconic slides, it’s almost a mini waterpark on its own
- Recipient for Best New Product Concept for Orbiter – a new park horizon defining slide inspired by roller coasters
- Recipient for Best New Product: Technology Applied to Amusements for Vantage, a game changing platform to deliver insights that optimize operations performance and guest experience.
- Winner for Best Large Booth
“You may have noticed that this year, WhiteWater sported a new look. Our new brand reiterates our purpose, which is to create places where families can unite and make joyful, lasting memories. We want to inspire parks to “think big”, because with our scale, experience, creativity, and delivery, we can make it happen. Our new tagline, “Entertain the Possibilities” reflects the idea behind our current “Be Boundless” brand advertising campaign, which showcases the idea that we’re here to make customers’ visions a profitable reality.
