The amusement industry is booming, and the numbers confirm this. There are two new amusement parks and at least eight new waterparks opening on the continent, and dozens of other rides and attractions planned for 2019. According to the Roller Coaster Data Base, worldwide there are 170 roller coasters scheduled to open in 2019. North America will see 37 of these, four less than last year.
