Australian park adds roof
The operators of Warner Bros Movie World (WBMW) in Australia are marketing the venue as “the only all-weather theme park on the Gold Coast,” following the launch on October 10 of a new 4,000 square metre roof.
Covering a large area of the park including the Main Street and Plaza – the hub of Movie World’s entertainment offerings – the roof will provide guests with year round protection from the elements, from inclement weather to sultry summer days.
Private and corporate events are expected to benefit from this new feature, making WBMW the second largest event/function venue on the Gold Coast, with seating capacity for up to 2,000 guests.
