Park owners are being offered a new way up-sell to guests courtesy of OmniTicket Network.
An operator-controlled touch screen coupled with a separate display in front of guests allows employees to communicate information or a series of offers at the ticket booth or other points of sale. Season passes can be sold, for example, or simply the park may just want to gather data about length of stay, frequency of visit etc.
“We think seeing the information on screen in an easy-to-understand way is much more effective than simply being told about it by staff,” says OmniTicket’s John Davies.
The Up-Sell system is already in use at a number of leading venues, including Universal Studios Hollywood and Orlando and Walt Disney World, where it is being branded Disney Magic Your Way.
