One of Sweden’s leading parks is promising big thrills for its young guests this coming season in the shape of a new kiddie coaster from Zamperla.
Tuff-Tuff Tåget (Choo-Choo Train) at Gröna Lund in Stockholm promises to become many children’s first coaster thanks to lack of any height restrictions. The 24-seater ride is being constructed next to the park’s carousel, just inside the main entrance, where it replaces an old outdoor café.
The new ride will open on April 24, when it will become the park’s sixth coaster, joining Nyckelpigan, Kvasten, Vilda Musen, Jetline and Insane.
“Roller coasters have always been firm favourites with our visitors – they’re a real amusement park classic,” notes Gröna Lund ride manager, Peter Osbeck. “Naturally, we’re very excited to be able to offer a choice of six here at Gröna Lund – three more than in 2006.”
