New ‘park-finder’ program released
Twenty-year-old German theme park fan and IT specialist Markus Ertner has developed a software application allowing fellow fans to research their park-going activities.
His Themepark-Manager program, which is free to download, allows users to search parks around the world, find out admission prices and opening times, link directly to their websites and make travel plans using Google Maps.
Countries included so far include Germany, Italy and Portugal, but more are planned. Park owners can input and update their own information, and Markus also welcomes comments and suggestions on how he can shape and improve the program.
