Tema Design by MK Illumination becomes MK Themed Attractions

In order to reflect its expanded offerings, Danish theming specialist Tema Design by MK Illumination has changed its name to MK Themed Attractions.

The company now delivers an increased selection of A-Z services to deliver complete themed concept solutions, thanks to the addition of complete concept lighting and amusement ride lighting designed to add sparkle, atmosphere and excitement to attractions worldwide.

“We’re still the same company, offering the same complete theming services to the attraction industry. We now offer extra value-added services and we do it all under the brand new name of MK Themed Attractions.”

– René Hansen, Managing Director at MK Themed Attractions, who explained that the company’s primary focus will remain on concept theming, whilst embracing new sectors.

Combining light with fiberglass to create one-of-a-kind atmospheres is something that MK Themed Attractions introduced in 2017 when they produced oversized, illuminated mushrooms for Liseberg. Since then, they’ve delivered more projects that combine themed concepts with light. In keeping with its expansion into light-filled themed attraction concepts, the company has also just launched a brand new Halloween product line that integrates light into fiberglass products. The new products will be shown off for the first time at EAS 2018 in Amsterdam.

MK Themed Attractions delivered Movie Park Germany’s complex rapid river re-theme as well as decorations for the first Roller Ball attraction in the world, “Wilde Hilde”, which opens in the summer of 2018 at Schwaben Park.
