A new Ferris Wheel opened last month in the city of Kaliningrad, the capital of the Russian Baltic Sea enclave of Kalinigrad Oblast.
The 45-metre construction was supplied by Technical Park complete with the Italian manufacturer’s new enclosed cabins. With floor to ceiling windows, passengers get a great view of the local surroundings.
The wheel is also wheelchair-friendly thanks to the cabin’s large doors and ramps towards the rear of the ride. Further options for the cabins include foldable seats, table, minibar, power socket and air conditioning.
The Kalinigrad installation comes just one month after Technical Park completed a 55-metre Ferris Wheel in Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second city. This particular wheel was supplied with classic octagonal gondolas with polycarbonate screens that can be detached according to the weather.
