Responding to the demand created by Atlantic City, New Jersey’s new open container law that permits the drinking of adult beverages on the city’s beach and Boardwalk, the Steel Pier has replaced their original Pub on the Boardwalk. The original Pub had a single bartender. Steel Pier has upgraded the Pub with a new four-bartender facility from Concession Nation of Deerfield Beach, Florida. Measuring 30 feet (9.1 m) long and eight feet (2.4 m) deep, the portable bar features two service windows facing the Boardwalk and two facing the park’s food court. The Pub specialises in a variety of frozen drinks, and now also offers six different beers on tap plus bottles.
“This state of the art bar will offer patrons a unique outside drinking experience,” notes Anthony Catanoso, Steel Pier President. “It will answer the demand for more outdoor activity given the current state of restrictions. We are excited to be able to provide this service.”
