Spring into Dreamworld for the Spring County Fair!

Dreamworld is set to transform into a celebration of all things spring and all things country during the September holidays, with its all-new Spring County Fair activation taking place from the 18th of September to the 4th of October.

The inaugural event will feature headline activities including Belinda’s Barnyard Buddies petting zoo, spring-themed entertainment like live musicians, line dancing and live chainsaw carving and of course some exquisite eats for sale, including American-style carnival favourites, as well as spring-themed items like homemade pies, picnic packs and supersized fairy floss.

In true County Fair style, guests will be able to enjoy their favourite rides, plus the park will come alive with fresh and fun spring theming, including its very own Sideshow Alley, with carnival games and showbags for sale.

Dreamworld’s Head Chef, Warren Green and his team have been working hard to put together a truly unique food and beverage offering for the activation.

“Winterfest was a great demonstration of our ability to put on really enticing and unexpected food and beverage options in a theme park setting, and we plan to do the same again at Spring County Fair. We want our guests to forget what they think they know about theme park food, and to come and enjoy the flavours of Spring right here at Dreamworld.”, said Warren.

“In addition to re-theming some of our most popular outlets, we’re also bringing our purpose-built food precinct (introduced during Winterfest as Winterville) back to life as the Harvest Eatery.”

In addition to a range of delicious food offerings with both American and spring influences, local craft breweries and distillers Black Hops and Grandad Jacks will offer tastings throughout the event.

“We know it’s been an incredibly tough year for a lot of Australians, and we know there are a lot of things our locals have had to miss out on throughout 2021, so we’ve worked with some great partner businesses to make sure our offering helps every guest create fun spring memories”, said Dreamworld CEO, Greg Yong.

“From tastings by local breweries and distillers to shopping for your favourite showbags and even appearances by local chainsaw artist, Matt Bird, we wanted to ensure that community was a key theme for Dreamworld’s very first Spring County Fair event.”

Dreamworld is proud to be offering an additional sales opportunity for Showbag Vendors affected by Brisbane and Adelaide event cancellations.

Spring County Fair will take place at Dreamworld from Saturday 18th September – Monday 4th October and is included with Dreamworld entry.
