Sevart brings extensive experience
Ron Sevart has been chosen as the new CEO of the Space Needle in Seattle, the city’s famous tower attraction. He brings extensive experience in the attractions industry, including major attraction development, entertainment venues, restaurants and water resorts.
The Space Needle opened on April 21, 1962, the first day of the Seattle World’s Fair. It remains the most popular attraction in America’s Pacific Northwest. Sevart is charged with creating new and exciting growth opportunities for the company as it moves into its second half-century.
His 20 years of leadership include servicing as park president at three of the largest and most profitable Six Flags properties and most recently a variety of roles in the United Arab Emirates with the Emaar Malls Group. His family now plans to relocate to the Seattle.
