Santorini Water Fantasy

Santorini Water Fantasy is one of two new Thai waterparks opening in 2013 supplied by Polin Waterparks & Pool Systems.

Set to open in May, the waterpark will complement an amusement park at the Cha-Am Premium Outlet Mall in the southern part of the Phetchaburi province. The project is the brainchild of Supoj Tantichirasakul, chairman of the clothing company Pena House.

Waterpark attractions will include one of Polin’s signature King Cobra slides as well as a Looping Rocket, Space Shuttle, Windigo, Freefall, Aquatube, Rafting Slide, Black Hole, Kids Freefall, Space Hole, Kids Octopus Slide, Mini Pirate Slide, Turtle Slide, Rabbit Slide, Mini Rainbow Slide, Giraffe Shower, Mushroom, Aquatower Type 600, Frog Slide and Baby Octopus Slide.

Built at a cost of bt100 million (US$3.25m/€2.5m), Santorini Water Fantasy will sit on about 4-acres (1.6 hectares). The existing amusement park occupies about double that. A further 8 acres is already earmarked for a three-star resort
