Safari Park launches Hurtling Hippos

England’s West Midland Safari Park has given a new lease of life to its Polyp (Spider) ride be retheming it as the Hurtling Hippos.

20 new hippo cars, the ride seats up to 40 riders and completes a dancing motion suitable for most family members.

The new design came from the park’s own engineering team and was realised in co-operation with local manufacturers, just in time last month’s Summer Nights extended openings.

Based in the county of Worcestershire, West Midland Safari Park boasts one of the largest Hippo pods in Europe. Hurtling Hippos is one of 28 rides that visitors can enjoy on purchase of a £10.99/11.50 (kids/adults) wristband.
