Paultons has the Edge

Paultons Park in England has unveiled its new Disk ‘O’ Coaster from Zamperla. The ride, named Edge, was a big hit with guests visiting the park over Easter and is the first of its kind in the UK.

Travelling at up to 43 miles an hour, the ride’s spinning platform reaches heights of up to 15-metres as it travels along an undulating 92-metre track. The big thrill, which makes the ride different to all standard Disk ‘O’ installations, is the camelback section in the middle.

Also new at Paultons this season is Water Kingdom by Water Works, a 8,500 sq ft splash park including water jets, giant tipping buckets, sprays, fountains and super soakers. In total there are over 20 different ways to get wet!

”When considering new attractions we always look to add something that will appeal to guests whatever their age,” says commercial director Stephen Lorton. “Whilst the Edge perfectly complements the other large rides at the park and is sure to appeal to adults and older children, Water Kingdom is designed for the smaller kids to enjoy.”

Located near Romsey in Hampshire, Paultons features over 50 rides and attractions set in over 140 acres of landscaped parkland on the edge of the New Forest National Park.
