ParadropVR City Flyer announced as MAPIC Awards finalist
ParadropVR City Flyer has been shortlisted as a finalist for Best Leisure Concept in the 2019 MAPIC Awards, a standard of excellence that reward the retail real estate industry’s brightest and best retailers and projects.
Developed by Frontgrid Ltd, ParadropVR City Flyer is an innovative immersive attraction, designed to help leading retail and leisure destinations increase revenue and footfall by offering a unique, fun and share-worthy experience to guests.
The world-first ParadropVR City Flyer attraction opened at King Power Mahanakhon in Bangkok in July, where it has received outstanding feedback from visitors. The installation – branded Mahanakhon SkyRides – puts each guest at the heart of a unique immersive adventure, flying around one of the world’s most exciting and vibrant cities in a thrilling virtual reality game.
The MAPIC awards jury panel composed of top experts from the retail real estate industry met in Paris last week to review the entries and shortlist the finalists in each category, with ParadropVR™️ City Flyer being selected from a high number of projects to make the final shortlist for the Best Leisure Concept award.
