The City Eye is a new observation tower concept from the Anglo-French supplier Interlink. The double deck gondola features a standard 60-seat-capacity viewing platform with seating on top and a glass-floored lower deck for full panoramic views.
Rides can be built between 60 and 120-metres in height, and a semi-transportable version is also available with a base frame for those operators that need to re-site tower, rather than travel it on a full-time basis.
Following the unveiling of the concept at IAAPA Attractions Expo in Orlando, Interlink is considering building a version of the ride featuring restaurant/dining facilities.
