Marineland opens Polar Splash

Marineland Canada has opened its latest family-oriented attraction, Polar Splash, a two-acre, Arctic-themed splash park. Designed by Terra Plan and constructed by UCC, Polar Splash features 10 kid-friendly water slides along with 150 themed sprayers and jets that are designed to look like realistic dolphins, sea lions, belugas, walruses, and polar bears. Guests can play with their Marineland friends in an immersive environment filled with icebergs, a grotto, and water time fun.

Located across from Friendship Cove, Polar Splash offers a way for families to cool off during a fun and educational visit to Marineland. There are changing rooms for visitors at Polar Splash, picnic tables, and benches that provide comfortable seating and shade for families.

“We built Polar Splash to create a fun place for children to cool off during a visit to Marineland,” said Marie Holer of Marineland Canada. “We chose a polar theme that included so many different marine mammal features to help connect our mission of conservation, education, and research with fun here at Marineland. I’m looking forward to welcoming our guests to enjoy themselves at this latest Marineland attraction.”
