Ride Trade ‘shipping rides around the world’
Ride Trade, acting as agent for Intamin, is shipping rides around the world. Two Megalite coasters are scheduled to open in China in 2009. Happy Valley Shanghai, an OCT park, will introduce a Mine Train, Gyro Swing and Flying Island. A Flying Island has also gone to the recently opened Happy Valley Chengdu.
A Spinning Coaster is destined for Bakken, Denmark, and a 115ft ZacSpin Coaster to Gröna Lund, Stockholm, Sweden. A 3,281ft LSM launched coaster is planned for Mirabilandia, Ravenna, Italy, while a 62ft hydraulic catapult is targeted for Molfetta, Italy. Sea World on the Gold Coast in Australia has ordered a Jet Ski Coaster. In the US, Holiday World in Indiana is erecting a Hyper Splash, the biggest ever, called Pilgrim’s Plunge.
