Giant cliff-side swing opens at Wansheng Ordovician Theme Park

Chinese park Wansheng Ordovician Theme Park has added another thrill-seeking attraction to its collection – with a cliff-side ride that swings guests over a 1000ft cliff.

The park, located 62 miles from the city of Chongqing, contains the largest concentration of high altitude attractions in the world, with the world’s longest glass footbridge extending 120 metres above ground and a number of record-breaking glass walkways, attracting around 4,000 adrenaline junkies a day.

In videos provided by the theme park, tourists can be seen being strapped to the seat (with only a harness), pulled up to a 90-degree point facing the ground, and then pushed out into the open air over the valley.
