The new interactive family adventure ‘Ghostbusters 5D – the ultimate ghost hunt’ recently opened at Northern Germany’s biggest theme park Heide Park resort. Equipped with laser pistols, ghost traps and 3D glasses model Alena Gerber, her sister Deborah and actress Jenny Elvers (and son Paul) were there to try out the new ghostly adventure. The new attraction includes special effects for children from six years old and promises an interactive experience based on the successful movies.

Actress Jenny Elvers andh er son enjoyed the ghost hunt saying: “The ride in the ECTO-X through the spooky warehouse is unique, it is something that I have not experienced before. I felt like I was in another world and I especially liked the fact that young kids and adults have to actively form a team together.”

7.2 million Euros have been invested in the elaborately animated 5D dark ride, in which up to eight people take an exciting journey through several worlds and up to New York City.

“I am happy that with Ghostbusters 5D, we are able to offer the third family adventure in a row and the first indoor attraction of Heide Park to our guests. The complex technology was a special challenge for the entire team. So the positive response is all the more welcome” says Sabrina de Carvalho, Divisional Director of Heide Park Resort.
