Parques Reunidos has acquired Leipzig based theme park Belantis. The Group already own Movie Park, also located in Germany, and the new acquisition includes 27ha. of additional land that allows for expansion of the park.
Belantis is accessible from Germany, Poland, and the Czech Republic, and has eight different themed areas with 70 attractions, 13 restaurants, and two souvenir shops. The park also offers event programming, including themed parties, music events, and firework shows.
Belantis shows potential to grow towards a flagship German park, with regional reach for cities such a Prague, Berlin, and Dresden.
