Holovis has announced an important addition to its senior global executive team. George Walker has joined the company as Vice President of Creative Development. As the creative mind behind the Ferrari World expansion and smash hit attractions such as Flying Aces, George has a long history of successful collaboration with Holovis and credits the Holovis team for “bringing all things magic” to many of the attractions.
Building on this history, George will be leading and expanding the company’s Creative Services and working with the existing team of visionary designers and solution architects who create some of the World’s most exciting attractions and experiences.
Based in the Holovis Inc. Innovation Centre in Orlando, FL, George will be perfectly positioned at the heart of the theme park industry to lead the creative design, combined with technology integration, around next generation attractions and new park-wide experiences.
George brings a long history of creative development experience, from his early beginnings building themed miniature golf courses and FECs over two decades ago, to his more recent roles as Creative Director for Universal Studios Creative Studio in Orlando, and Creative Executive for Dynamic Attractions. Regarding his move to join Holovis, George commented, “I am so excited to be teaming up with such a cutting-edge company that has always managed to innovate and problem-solve. I have been constantly impressed with their ability to get things done and push the limits, whilst always championing the guest experience and the clients’ masterplan – all in a way that is truly rare in our industry.
