Garden Quest opens in Myrtle Beach

Garden Quest is the name of a new extension to the MagiQuest Kingdom adventure game in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and it takes guests outside of the existing facility and on a journey through Broadway at the Beach, a neighbouring 350-acre shopping, dining and entertainment complex.

To begin the Garden Quest, players must purchase a wand from MagiQuest or a kiosk located within the Broadway at the Beach. They are then presented with a set of clues that guide them on their way through the complex as they search for six garden-themed effects that marked with the MagiQuest “Q.”

Garden Quest can be completed at the player’s leisure. The wand saves all gaming activity, allowing the player to complete the quest in five minutes or five days. Once the quest has been completed, players return to MagiQuest to redeem the points they have earned.

Since its inception, Broadway at the Beach has provided families with a unique variety of attractions such as a Ripley’s Aquarium, Dragon’s Lair Miniature Golf, the IMAX 3D Theatre and the recent Pavilion Nostalgia Park.

“MagiQuest and Garden Quest is powered by patented technology,” explains Denise Weston, president of Creative Kingdoms, developer of MagiQuest. “This versatile technology allows complexes as diverse as malls, resorts, theme parks and museums to take the MagiQuest entertainment model and mould it to fit their location. I am positive the Garden Quest will be a very successful endeavour for Broadway at the Beach.”
