Gardaland Magic Winter returns

Gardaland Magic Winter is back, from 7 December 2019 to 6 January 2020. During this event, a staple tradition of the park, themed decorations and shows will allow guests to fully enjoy yuletide festivities while experiencing all the fun and adrenaline of the main rides, accessible even during the winter period.

Gardaland Magic Winter will kick off on the weekend of the 7 and 8 December, it will then be continuing on 14 and 15 December, between 21 and 24 December and then uninterruptedly from 26th December to 6th January 2020.

After last years’ success, the Magico Villaggio di Babbo Natale (Santa’s Magic Village) will be back. Accessible from Piazza Ramses, it will be made of different settings reproducing the world of Santa Claus.

The exciting new attraction for this edition is the Winter Express, an exhibition of collectible model trains to delight kids and model railway aficionados alike.

Prezzemolo – accompanied by dancers – will be performing the “Welcome to Gardaland Magic Winter” show.

Other attractions include the coach dragged by a real horse that will allow visitors to experience moments while the notes of the most popular and beloved Christmas carols will be resounding in the streets.

There will be an ice rink next to the iconic ride Ramses: il Risveglio and a playground.

The younger ones will get to meet Peppa, George, Suzy Sheep and Danny Dog at Peppa Pig Land to exchange wishes with their heroes and maybe get their faces decorated by the Park’s makeup artists.

Inside Fantasy Kingdom the Albero di Prezzemolo (Prezzemolo’s Tree) will be on display in dazzling fashion: 4,000 metres of lighting for a grand total of 80,000 lights will be illuminating the area. A fantastic ceremony will be taking place, every evening at 6 PM, with the lights of tree being turned on followed by a copious snowfall.

And what Christmas would it be without a little bit of sweetness? Those with a sweet tooth will get a taste of kurtoskalacs – typical Hungarian pastries that resemble the chimneys of a Christmas village. Made and cooked on the spot, they can be personalised using several different types of grain hazelnuts. There will also be no shortage of tasty waffles, crunchy almond pralines, smoking mulled apple juice, aromatised chocolate, giant marshmallow ready to be roasted on fire, chestnuts and Christmas biscuits.

During Gardaland Magic Winter several will be the themed shows that will let Guests immerse themselves in the Park’s Christmas atmosphere in the company of their friends and family.

Gardaland Theatre will be playing host to the great Christmas show, The Christmas Show, a live musical with spectacular choreographies, fabulous costumes and international artists who will be performing incredible acrobatic numbers. Meanwhile, at the Teatro della Fantasia (Theatre of Fantasy) the international performer Silvia Garuffini will be presenting her enchanting show Magiche bolle di Natale (Magical Christmas Bubbles). The days will then finish in joy with the Magica Parata di Natale (Magic Christmas Parade) which will reach the Fantasy Kindgom area, after crossing the park, for the beginning of the closing ceremony.

Throughout Gardaland Magic Winter, an entry ticket to the Park will also grant access to Gardaland SEA LIFE Aquarium, where the evocative yuletide atmosphere will continue thanks to the Aquarium’s theming and the special meetings with Santa Claus. Scheduled for Saturday at 1 and 5 PM, they will be highlighted by the reading of a Christmas fairy tale in front of the enchanting ocean tank.

The magic of Christmas will be continuing all through the night inside the Resort’s three hotels, namely Gardaland Hotel, Gardaland Adventure Hotel and Gardaland Magic Hotel: thousands of lights, beautiful decoration and yule celebrations will allow families to experience a holiday full of joy and amusement.
