First Chinese Six Flags parks highlighted in exhibition center

 

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation and Riverside Investment Group Co. Ltd. have opened the Zhejiang Riverside Themed Town Exhibition Center offering visitors a first-hand look of the planned Riverside themed town. This 30 billion yuan (USD $4.6 billion) development along the Yangtze River Delta will be a Chinese residential and retail community with the first-ever Six Flags branded theme parks serving as the centerpiece.

“Six Flags is thrilled to be an integral part of this phenomenal preview center and the future Zhejiang Riverside Themed Town,” said Six Flags International President John Odum. “The Six Flags Zhejiang theme and water parks will feature record-breaking roller coasters, family rides, thrilling water slides and world-class shows—along with themed sections that will pay homage to the rich and storied Chinese history and culture.”

Visitors to the center will have the opportunity to learn about the amenities being planned for this mixed-use community. Thrill seekers will enjoy the wide array of interactive activities and displays highlighting the Six Flags experience.

The official opening of the Zhejiang Riverside Themed Town Exhibition Center was attended by a host of dignitaries including officials from the Zhejiang Province, Jiaxing City, and Haiyan County government, Six Flags, Riverside, Coca-Cola, Paws Inc., Paramount Hotels & Resorts Pierre & Vacances – Center Parcs and other notable industry leaders and partners.
