Family-friendly Gulliver’s theme parks to reopen across UK

Gulliver’s Theme Parks and Resorts will reopen three of its family-friendly sites to guests across the UK this week.

Gulliver’s Valley Resort, in Rotherham, will open on Friday, February 18, with Gulliver’s Land Resort, in Milton Keynes, and Gulliver’s World Resort, in Warrington, welcoming guests from Saturday, February 19.

Gulliver’s Kingdom Resort, in Matlock Bath, will reopen on Saturday, March 26. And Gulliver’s Dinosaur & Farm Park, adjacent to Gulliver’s Land in Milton Keynes, will reopen from Saturday, April 2.

To celebrate the new season and the reopening of three of its parks, Gulliver’s is offering discounted tickets costing only £15. Tickets must be booked at least two days in advance, for visit dates until March 20.

The popular annual passport, which costs £99 per person, offers unlimited entry to all five of Gulliver’s UK theme parks for 12 months.

The three parks opening this week are also offering a 20% discount on birthday packages booked in advance for dates in 2022. Guests can use the booking code PARTY20 to secure the discount (available on bookings made before February 28).

Aimed at families and children aged two to 13, Gulliver’s has been providing magical experiences and fantastic fun for more than 40 years. Gulliver’s Valley, its most recent resort, opened in July 2020 with more than 30 rides and attractions on a 250-acre site.

The family-run business is headed by Julie Dalton, daughter of Ray Phillips who opened the first park, Gulliver’s Kingdom in Matlock Bath, in 1978.

Julie, managing director of Gulliver’s Theme Park Resorts, said: “Our mission at Gulliver’s is to provide fun for all the family at affordable prices.

“We know it has been a very difficult couple of years for many people. With the worst of the Covid-19 pandemic now hopefully behind us, we want to give as many families as possible the chance to experience a fun-filled trip to Gulliver’s.

“We are thrilled to be reopening three of our theme park resorts this week and can’t wait to welcome families and young people across the UK to make more magical memories with us.”
