Fabbri secures second Giant Wheel

New rides destined for Asia

Meanwhile Fabbri has now sold four Sky Tower rides, including its first park model. By the time you read this, number two should be with its French owner following the original ride delivered to a Dutch showman at the end of August. Further orders have since been received from customers in Spain and for a park installation in China. All will be 30-metres-tall. Plans are now on the drawing board, however, for a 60-metre park version.

Two orders have now been received for the Hydro Mania, Fabbri’s interactive boat ride. The first will debut in 2010, at the same Chinese park as the Sky Tower. The second is also due for somewhere in Asia.

In something of a departure for the Italian manufacturer, Fabbri is to partner with Brogent Technologies of Taiwan to produce an interactive theatre ride. The attraction will feature horse seats that move up and down as riders shoot at the action on screen. According to Fabbri salesman Edward Cromheecke, the attraction will be competitively priced and offer more movement compared to rival products.
