Dutch Wonderland adds water play
Dutch Wonderland, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, has opened its castle doors for its 45th season with an interactive water play element – Duke’s Lagoon (pictured) – and two new live stage shows.
Duke’s Lagoon, introduced to the park in 2003, gets a makeover. A new play structure by Wizardworks features more than 20 interactive play elements, including a 70ft geyser, four kiddie water-blasters, two pump stations and more.
Thomas & Friends Live at Dutch Wonderland is scheduled for four performances daily, while Beyond the Castle Walls is a new stage show based on the children’s book of the same name, highlighting the travels and adventures of Princess Brooke and her friends.
