Werner Dullmaier said: “From my past experience, I know first-hand exactly what our partners and prospects are looking for from their eCommerce platforms. I understand the challenges they are facing, how we can help solve them, and the optimum timing for this type of investment.

“The digital market in Germany has grown exponentially over the last three years in all sectors, with everyone now used to using their mobile devices to book and download tickets. Convious is a dynamic, young company that has been taking the market by storm. I’m looking forward to working with and growing the team to gain greater traction and more market share.”

Tom Benner

Tom Benner also joins Convious as chief marketing officer. Benner has worked on marketing and sales projects for more than 20 years, with experience in cloud products and SaaS models for global market leaders. His specialisms include working with start-ups and scaling businesses to certify the correct strategies and processes are being utilised to achieve the desired results.

Tom Benner said: “I am looking forward to bringing my knowledge from other sectors into the leisure and attractions industry.

“Convious is a company that is scaling and growing quickly, driven by the evolution of the guest journey and the need to ensure a digital solution. I will be working to make sure we have the processes in place to support our partners and future prospects as they embark on the next phase of their digital transformation, guided by our expertise.”

Camiel Kraan, Convious founder and CEO, said: “This expertise and level of experience are what we need to continue our growth as we head into the next phase of our journey and for many of our partners, their first full operating season. A seamless, mobile-first end-to-end digital journey is now crucial for destinations to deliver high-end customer experiences and capitalise on conversions.

“The appointment of both Dullmaier and Benner is an exciting time as we continue our fast expansion across the German market. Many of our partners are based in Germany so having representation within these regions will help to make transitions seamless for our partners, bringing a wealth of knowledge both from the industry and from outside that we can implement to make our product and our service stronger.

“We are looking forward to strengthening partnerships within the DACH region and seeing where the future takes us.”

Earlier this month, Convious announced it has been working with Staffordshire’s Drayton Manor, bringing its eCommerce, crowd control and guest experience platform to the UK theme park.
