Haichang Caribbean Park set for July opening
This summer waterpark guests in Chongqing, China, will be able to experience the country’s largest and most spectacular waterplay attraction. The new Haichang Caribbean Park, which opens in July, will debut a 15,000 sq ft playground by SCS Interactive.
The soaking wet attraction will stand 66ft high and come packed with 38 decks of interactivity to explore. SCS has blended its WaterColors and Discovery Treehouse products together, added two tipping buckets, a volcano geyser and hundreds of interactive water features to create a refreshing family attraction. ProSlide has partnered with SCS to provide the six slides.
“Aside from being the largest waterplay structure in all of China, its innovative design, extraordinary Caribbean theming and unique play features will make it a must-do and see attraction,” believes Qu Nai Qiang, vice-president of Haichang Group, which will operate the waterpark in the Nan An District.
