“We brought our new battery-powered C.P. Huntington locomotive,” explained Dick Chance at the Chance Rides booth during the recent IAAPA Expo in Orlando. “This is the first production model and is going to the Montgomery Zoo in Alabama. The zoo market is a big market for our new trains as they replace their old gasoline models with new battery powered engines.”

“We’re also displaying Sesame Street carousel animals on our booth,” he continued. “In addition, the American Dream Mall in East Rutherford, New Jersey, just opened. In their Nickelodeon Universe they introduced our family roller coaster, the Nickelodeon Slime Streak, that is the most popular ride in the park. We also have a Unicoaster there called Jimmy Neutron’s Atom Smasher, and a carousel, the Rugrats Reptar Go-Round. It’s a 56-foot double-decker.”

“We just finished installing an R-60 Giant Wheel in Union Station, St. Louis,” he added. “It opened In September. By October the ridership had doubled their expectations. That’s our seventh location for that wheel in the U.S. and Canada. At the Union Station they also have one of our 36-foot carousels. We’re pretty much backed up for 2020, and we’re working on deals here at the show for 2021.
