Blackpool Pleasure Beach extends 2020 season

Blackpool Pleasure Beach has announced it will be extending its 2020 season until 13th December, providing even more opportunities to enjoy the much-loved family attraction for longer.

The UK’s most ride-intensive amusement park will be operating daily until 1st November, then every weekend until 13th December, which compliments Blackpool’s famous Illuminations.

Winter Weekends at Blackpool Pleasure Beach will provide a fun filled day out for thrill seekers and little ones alike.

For those hoping to deliver their Christmas lists personally, Blackpool Pleasure Beach’s Christmas Grotto will be opening as part of the extended season. Tickets include entry to the magical Grotto, a visit with Santa and gift. When the park is open during Winter Weekends, the Grotto can be booked as an e-ticket supplement for just £10.

Discussing the decision to extend the park’s season, a Blackpool Pleasure Beach spokesperson, commented: “We are really excited to be keeping the park open longer this year with our Winter Weekends. The Christmas Grotto is always really popular with families and we are delighted to be able to invite little ones to meet Father Christmas as part of a fun-filled day with us.”

With some of the UK’s most popular rides, Blackpool Pleasure Beach’s 10 incredible rollercoasters are sure to get hearts racing. Those who dare can ride ICON, the UK’s first double launch rollercoaster or take in the high-speed drops and breath-taking views of the Big One.

Home to the UK’s only Nickelodeon Land, there are 12 rides the whole family can enjoy. Little ones can enjoy rides from classic shows, including SpongeBob SquarePants. Get ready to take a whirl on SpongeBob’s Splash Bash or Krusty Krab Order Up, before catching a ride on Dora’s World Voyage.

Ride Wallace & Gromit’s Thrill-O-Matic, voted Best Indoor Attraction in the recent UK Theme Park Awards. Hop onboard a giant slipper and take an action-packed trip with Wallace & Gromit as they tackle everything from trying out The Wrong Trousers to trying to escape The Curse of the Were Rabbit.

Winter Weekends run from 7th November to 13th December.
