AIMS International Launches E-Learning Platform

AIMS International, a non-profit association dedicated to improving amusement industry safety through leadership in education, has launched its new e-learning platform, AIMS connectED, which can now be accessed on the new AIMS International website, http://www.aimsintl.org/

AIMS connectED delivers a educational opportunity through which learners are able to experience more than 30 of the actual courses that were offered at the 2020 AIMS International Safety Seminar in Galveston, Texas, in January.  The courses were hand-picked by the AIMS Curriculum Committee to showcase top-rated amusement industry leaders presenting material on a wide variety of operations, maintenance and ride inspection topics.

AIMS executive director Mary Jane Brewer said, “AIMS is proud and honored to be able to assist amusement industry professionals in earning the continuing education units necessary to renew their AIMS certifications from the comfort of their own home or office.”

In the coming months, AIMS International will be adding more content to its already extensive library, in a variety of formats, through the new AIMS connectED LMS. Custom content will also be available to private organisations and associations with the option for delivery in multiple languages.

AIMS International provides educational courses and certification programs for ride inspectors, operations, aquatics and maintenance personnel through its annual Safety Seminar and at other venues throughout the year. AIMS also serves to inform its members on issues relating to the amusement industry and presents an Annual Safety Award recognising a person or organisation that has made a significant impact or contribution in improving safety in the amusement industry.
