The Danish amusement park Fårup Sommerland will unveil a Suspended Family Coaster from Vekoma for the 2013 season.
The ride will be named Orkanen (Danish for ‘hurricane’) and built partially over water. A custom 453-metre-long custom layout by Stefan Holtman includes a first drop that dives through a tunnel underneath a lake. The complete ride experience will last around 60 seconds. One 20-seat train will be supplied, providing an hourly capacity just short of 700.
Orkanen is expected to open for the start of the season in May.
