Work on the construction site of Rulantica is in full swing. Some slides have already been installed at the western tower of the new waterpark, but yesterday afternoon saw the biggest building block of all: through an opening in the roof structure, a 13-ton element of the ‘Tornado Wave’ floated into the shell-shaped hall. “The installation was a real show of strength,” said a spokesperson, adding that the ‘gigantic section’ had been inserted accurately and bolted.
Rulantica – ‘the new water world of Europa-Park’ opens its doors in late 2019. Already from the 31st of May, guests can spend the night in the nearby Krønasår adventure hotel.
