The flooding in the state of Georgia during late September has made for many remarkable photos. Digital Globe, a satellite imaging company, has released this photo of the flooding around the Six Flags Over Georgia amusement park in Atlanta.
Visible is the still brown water that had swamped some of the coasters and other parts of the park by September 22 when the shot was taken.
Nevertheless the park opened the following weekend as employees worked “around the clock.” There is now no standing water in the park, and the majority of the rides and attractions reopened.
