A tree named Danny
New mascot for Drouwenerzand
Costume character specialist Rainbow Productions was asked by the Dutch park Drouwenerzand to transform its tree icon into a mascot, and here’s the result: a character called Danny.
“The entire staff is really proud of Danny and our guests love him too,” says a park spokeswoman.
Rainbow also supplies a number of licensed mascots for meet and greet appearances, recently adding characters from Noddy and Friends and Franny’s Feet to its portfolio.
This summer the company produced a Bob the Builder live show, which performed at British parks including Legoland Windsor and Paultons Park in Hampshire, where this photo was taken.
