Rope A Phobia hits Europe
Published:  01 November, 2006

UK-based Innovative Leisure is now marketing the Rope A Phobia aerial assault course in Europe. This latest addition to the wide range of interactive family attractions from Innovative is a multi-activity attraction catering for active participants of 1.1 metres or more in height.

Eight elements can be enjoyed, starting with a rope climb that takes them up to platform level roughly 7 metres above the ground. Guests are then hooked onto a safety harness and work their way through the various elements, each of which provides different challenges and thrills.

“It creates just the right mix of excitement and ‘perceived danger’,” observes Innovative Leisure’s Phil Pickersgill. “Children love all the different elements, but especially the fireman’s pole at the end. We expect Rope A Phobia to really take off in Great Britain thanks to recent initiatives to get kids fit.”

The attraction is easy to set up and maintain and requires a minimum of two staff to operate. Rope A Phobia can accommodate up to 12 people at a time, or up to 70 an hour. A static version with steel legs and without the scissor lift is also available. “It’s already proving popular with operators of our climbing walls,” adds Pickersgill.
