Impulse coaster opens

The first ride of its kind in the Northeastern United States, Voodoo has opened at Dorney Park in Pennsylvania. The linear induction Impulse Coaster by Intamin formerly operated as Steel Venom at Geauga Lake in Ohio, another Cedar Fair group property.

The rides launches passengers both forward and backward as they dangle beneath 704ft of U-shaped steel track. Riders twist 360-degrees as they ascend 185ft up one end of the massive structure then reverse back down.
