Morey's Piers adds new attractions
New coaster trains planned
Published:  19 March, 2008

Guests visiting Morey’s Piers, Wildwood, New Jersey, will this season find a major transformation of a favourite coaster, two new rides and numerous upgrades and refinements.

The Great Nor’Easter Suspended Looping Coaster from Vekoma opened in 1995 and gets a major transformation this season with the addition of two new trains featuring ergonomic seating (pictured). The new design uses a lap bar and vest that comfortably restrains guests during the ride, while also giving them unhindered vision and complete arm freedom. A redesigned station and all new red, white and blue colour scheme will add to the ride experience.
From Wisdom Industries, Cygnus X-1 is a gravity-free flat ride that will operate on Morey’s Surfside Pier. Magic Bikes from Zamperla, meanwhile, is an interactive family attraction that lets riders loop the loop if they cycle hard enough. If too will be placed on Morey’s Surfside Pier. Throughout July, the new Radio Disney Summer Celebrity Tour will perform on Mariner’s Landing Pier.
Morey’s Piers is also upgrading its guest services facilities on Mariner’s Landing Pier and Adventure Pier.
