Silverwood Theme Park, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, is adding a Vekoma Giant Boomerang, the largest, most expensive rollercoaster it has ever purchased.
Formerly operated as Deja Vu at Six Flags Great America, Gurnee, Illinois, the $4-million 191ft steel ride almost twice the height of the park's next highest roller coaster, Tremors.
The two-towered inverted boomerang will pull riders up a 90-degree incline before dropping them 177ft at speeds of more than 65 mph. Silverwood is the largest theme park in the northwest US, featuring over 65 rides and attractions. The new attraction will give the park a total of four roller coasters.
