Wonderworks of London is offering a variety of systems that produce a 3D projection viewable without glasses. The same technology has been used to project “virtual performers” in stage concerts by the likes of Gorillaz and effectively offers a hi-tech version of the old Pepper’s Ghost illusion. Originally developed as an advertising tool, the technology is available as a small VisPod cabinet offering projections up to 101cm, as an AdPod projector offering 2-metre-wide images or as the StagePod unit allowing projections up to 30-metres wide.
