HUMAN STRIKER

The High Striker is a fun new interactive attraction that combines two tried and tested amusement devices, and it was a big hit at this year’s Munich Oktoberfest. As a rider sits on at the bottom of a 12-metre tower, their friend strikes a button with a hammer, sending them up the tower, according to their strength, by up to 8 metres.
There is also a "child" switch enabling younger participants, or those with less strength, to shoot their friends or parents to the top. The new attraction is offered by Iocus Systems GmbH, a new company formed by two Bremen-based industry veterans. “The ride is affectionately known as the ‘Mother-in-law High Striker," remarks vice-president Hadi Parvaee.
