Wheel and more from Technical Park
2008 rides revealed
Published:  18 December, 2007

Lightwater Valley in England will open a 25-metre Ferris Wheel for the start of the 2008 season. The 18-gondola ride, themed as a water wheel and pictured here, is one of several wheels currently on order from Technical Park.

Others include 32-metre two-trailer ride for an Italian showman, while the owner of two existing wheels at a Bulgarian holiday resort is to buy a kiddie ride from Technical Park.

For Fun Village in Italy, the manufacturer will build a Typhoon swinging pendulum ride (Frisbee). As with an existing attraction at Power Park in Finland, the ride will swing through a building.

Technical Park’s first Baby Aviator suspended kiddie coaster will debut at Europark near Milan. The park ordered the attraction after the success of the Flying Fury from Technical Park installed last summer. Baby Aviator will comprise 140-metres of track and feature four-seater plane vehicles that travel over water.

Technical Park also says it is close to signing up a showman customer for its first Flying Swinger (tower swing) and could deliver the ride in 2008 if the client wants it. A number of changes are believed to have been made to the ride’s design since early drawings were released last year.
