Lupfer named CEO of Florida Attractions Association
Published:  23 October, 2007

Bill Lupfer (pictured) has been named as the new president and CEO of the Florida Attractions Association, effective November 1, 2007. He succeeds Donna H Ross, who served as the organisation’s president and CEO for 19 years.

Lupfer is a seasoned senior hospitality, leisure, and entertainment executive with versatile experience in managing operations and developing innovative programme initiatives in for-profit as well as non-profit sectors. His career has included leadership roles with the US Astronaut Hall of Fame, the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation and Walt Disney World.

"We are pleased that Bill Lupfer will be using his business and hospitality industry expertise to further the goals and expand the reach of the attraction industry in Florida,” says Steve Geis of the Kennedy Space Center Visitors Complex, and chairman of the board.

The Florida Attractions Association, founded in 1949, is a trade association representing 90 family-oriented attractions.
