Canada's Wonderland unveils Behemoth
Published:  05 September, 2007

In May of next year, Canada's Wonderland, Vaughan, Ontario, will introduce Behemoth, the country’s biggest, fastest and tallest rollercoaster. The 230-foot-tall, 5,300ft-long ride, from Bolliger & Mabillard, will become the park's 15th rollercoaster.

After ascending the lift hill, passengers will encounter an adrenaline pumping 85-degree drop with speeds reaching 78 mph. Riders will then experience high speed twists and turns, including double banked horizontal loops and eight extreme drops.

Intensifying the action will be prototype open-air seating that will allow all riders to experience an unobstructed view of the thrills and excitement of what is expected to be one of North America's best coasters.
