Fun Spot USA, a new attraction on Highway 192 next to Old Town in Kissimmee, Florida, has opened with two patented multi-level go-kart tracks and a selection of family rides.
A sister park to the 10-year-old Fun Spot Action Park on International Drive in Orlando, this new facility has been built under the SkyCoaster thrill ride adjacent to Old Town.
John Arie, the CEO of Fun Spot Attractions, holds four US patents on go-kart track design. “These new tracks are extreme,” he says. “We have a 32-degree bank on one of the turns. That is greater than what you will find at Daytona Speedway.”
“John has created the most incredible tracks,” confirms Larry Naddeo, owner of Happy Days Amusements, which operates a go-kart track within Old Town. “I am glad he asked me to be part of this newer, bigger park.”
Fun Spots USA is Arie’s sixth park. He formerly opened Fun ’n’ Wheels parks in Orlando and Kissimmee and Fun Spots in Myrtle Beach, Virginia Beach, and of course Orlando.
