Huss returns
Published:  01 October, 2006

The Huss brand is back. While not the legal successor to Huss Maschinenfabrik GmbH, which filed for insolvency in August, the new Huss Park Attractions GmbH will continue to market the products of the famous German ride manufacturer.

Based in Bremen, its management, headed by Wolfgang Richter, and sales contacts remain as previously. It has been agreed that Huss Park Attractions will be acquired by a group of investors, while the Huss Gépgyár Kft production plant in Budapest, Hungary, will be bought by an “industrially active company.”

“This transaction ensures the strategic and financial security of all Huss business activities,” comments Richter. “We have laid the foundations for further growth and new developments within our premium ranges of high and flat amusement rides." There are now plans to extend the current Huss product portfolio, which consists of Classic Rides, Giant Rides and Sky Tower Rides, to include movie-based simulator rides and mid-priced family attractions. www.hussrides.com
