Mole in One at Legoland Windsor
Published:  27 July, 2007

An 18-hole adventure golf course has opened at Legoland Windsor near London. The £300,000 (€443,000) attraction is based on a woodland theme and features Lego models of creatures such as squirrels, foxes, moles, otters and dragonflies.

The pay-and-play attraction, which has been named ‘Mole in One’ is a joint venture project between Legoland Windsor and Western Log Group, which is building the course and will operate it on a profit share basis.

“Although Legoland is specifically targeted at 3-12 year olds, we required an attraction which would be fun, interactive and suitable for the whole family to enjoy,” says the park’s general manager, Vicky Brown. “Adventure golf is an increasingly popular attraction and as we have previously worked with Western Log Group we know the quality of their work is excellent.

Mole in One is located next to the Extreme Challenge ride in Duplo Land. During busy periods it can be broken down into two 9-hole courses to reduce waiting times.
