Disneyland adds '8th day'
Published:  27 June, 2007

The Disneyland Resort, Anaheim, California, is sprinkling some magic on the calendar and virtually creating an “8th Day” in its operating week in anticipation of high demand for the relaunched Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage attraction (pictured).

The ride, which resurfaced June 11 in the Tomorrowland Lagoon, will stay open for an extra 2 1/2 hours each evening. Guests will be allowed to join the queue line until official park closing.

Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage is an overhaul of the fondly-remembered Submarine Voyage that was retired in 1998 after nearly 40 years’ service. The renewed attraction now features the popular animated fish from the Disney:Pixar films of the same name. In fact, guests are encouraged to “Find Nemo” as they queue for the ride.
